My Strategy Day School Experience…..

Today has been emotional but great.

My take home learning…..

– diagram one is a nifty approach to the analysing aspect of the strategy framework. First list the facts about an organisation (from the case study), then pick out the strategic issues, then use some frameworks to analyse the environment STEEPLE, Porters 5 Forces, Grants Key Success Factors and last look at what might change and the barriers and opportunities that are surfaced in order to Choose a way forward.

The second pic explains the grant model a little further.

I need to read more about the 5 forces and Grant and start looking at the case study for my first assignment. It’s only three weeks away! And should put these approaches into practice so that I’ve got some evidence for discussing the pros and cons when it comes to the assignment.
